The plastic buckets are vertical cylindrical containers used to carry or store liquids or solids. The plastic buckets are provided with a semicircular handle to pick up it easily. The buckets are in heavy use from very ancient times when these were used to drew water from water wells. The buckets made of metals have high affinity to corrosion and they get deteriorated even faster when used to store water because water is corrosion stimulator.

The plastic buckets have an additional advantage over metal buckets i.e these are anti-corrosive even when kept in contact with water for a long. Buckets are not only used to store water but also for storing or carrying foodstuffs, sand (mainly for fire extinguishing in community halls), paints, oil, chemicals, flour or powders etc. The high water and air resistance, durability, chemicals-resistance, poor electrical and thermal conductivity and lower cost makes plastic buckets very ideal containers.
