Every day we use plastic in many forms such as bags, container, bottles, pipes and many other things. These plastic products are the result of a defined processing of plastic raw materials. Plastic, in its original form is a synthetic or man made polymer. Usually plastic is produced from hydrocarbon monomers. There are few other components like Oxygen, fluorine and nitrogen, which are also importantly used for plastic production. The two important raw materials required for plastic manufacturing are:
Process Plastic raw materials are heated up and this process is called cracking process. This process converts crude oil or natural gas into hydrocarbon monomers. A wide range of Plastic is manufactured with the combinations of these monomers. These monomers are treated with specialized chemicals to form polymers. Types Plastic is one of the most flexible material, which is used to manufacture numberless utile things. All these kinds of plastic needs different plastic raw materials and processing to get a usable form. As per the requirements, these plastic are formed through various plastic raw materials such as Molding Compounds, Abrasives, Polycarbonate Resins, Polyurethane Resins, Defoaming Agents, Surface Active Agents, Colorants & pigments, Plastic Granules and Lubricants etc. Plastic raw materials are used to manufacture plastic usable for specific requirements. lastic raw materials also add few specialties such as flexibility, durability and resistance power etc. Additive is another essential raw material used for plastic, these additives are mixed in plastic to process them in final shape. Additives works like a protection as it prevent the plastic from harmful elements like bacteria or heat which can disgrace the plastic quality. Plasticizers are used to enhance the flexibility of plastic. It is commonly required to manufacture the plastic for food packaging. There are specialized chemicals for plastic processing, these chemicals are known as Plastic Chemicals. There are various kind of Plastic Chemicals used as a raw material to form different kind of plastics. |
