Plastic packaging products has become an essential part of our lives. Plastic Packaging products have a great influence on each one of us. We start our day by using Plastic Packaging products and till end of the day we use them in countless ways. We may not realize consciously but today we use Plastic Packaging products most of the times, when we buy eatable, cloth, gift item, toy, groceries and the list is endless. Everyone's life is touched with Plastic packaging products, be it a infant's cereal box liners, or an old person's Medicine bottle .Apart from these Plastic packaging products are highly consumptive for the manufacturing of Plastic Pallets, Plastic Crates, Plastic Barrels, Plastic Canisters, Plastic Cans, Plastic Closures and Plastic Caps etc. With the increasing demand of Plastic packaging products, today it is established as a significant contributor in our economy. Considering its various utility, the range and variety in Plastic packaging products is very wide. These Plastic Packaging Products are manufactured with different types of plastics. The most common types of plastics used to manufacture different packaging products are:
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is most commonly used polyethylene thermoplastic for Plastic Packaging Products. It is made with petroleum. It is Impenetrable by light and hard in nature. It has a good temperature resistance and can hold till 110 °C temperature for long time. High Density Polyethylene is commonly used for Laundry detergent bottles, plastic bags, oil bottles, cereal box liners , water pipes, Fuel tanks for vehicles, Chemical-resistant piping systems and Natural gas distribution pipe systems etc. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) was firstly discover in 1933. It is generally made from oil. Low Density Polyethylene is known for its flexibility and toughness. It has an extraordinary resistance for acids. Low Density Polyethylene is applicable for various Plastic Packaging Products such as squeezable food bottles, garment bags, laboratory containers, trays, flexible parts and shrink-wrap etc. Polystyrene (PS) was firstly discovered in Germany, after first world war, when the advancements in chemical technology took place and resulted latest variety in plastic. The initial gifts of latest plastic were PS Polystyrene. Polystyrene is stiff and brittle in nature Polystyreen is a commonly used Plastic Packaging Product. It is most commonly used for toys, egg cartons, fast food trays and product casings etc. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is one of the most popular thermoplastic polymer. It is a hard plastic but can be soften through chemical processing. This is one of the most widely used Plastic Packaging Product. It is commonly used for pipes, footwear, vegetable oil bottles, blister packaging and food wrap etc. Polyethylene Terphthalate (PET) is one of the most water-repellent plastic. This is also known for its qualities like it is robust and scratch poof. Polyethylene Terphthalate is a very popular material fo Plastic Packaging Products. Polyethylene Terphthalate is highly consumptive for manufacturing of bubbly drinks bottles. Polyethylene Terphthalate is also used for food trays and food containers etc. Polypropylene (PP) is a widely used thermoplastic polymer. It is a light weight and waterproof material which is very economical too. Polypropylene is commonly used for various Plastic Packaging Products such as food packaging, medicine bottles, reusable container, containers caps and yogurt containers etc. Today packaging Industry highly depends on plastic materials because of its economical range and flexibility. What else can be more comfortable and economical to keep the preserved food items fresh, to carry large amount of things easily or to keep baby cereals safe. |
